The SAP Accelerated Implementation Program (AIP) is specifically designed for SAP Business One® implementations. The AIP methodology divides an implementation into five phases, each having a milestone to complete. Starting with the handover from the sales team to right before the handover to the support organisation, everything is covered in different phases. Each milestone, selected by SAP and partners as crucial checkpoints in your project plan, marks the completion of a guarded activity in the project which may include software installation, system configuration, testing, and so on.

In the first phase, the purpose is to analyze the objectives and requirement of the client and strategize the planning and starting the preparation for the project.
During this phase, a blueprint is curated to define scope, schedule, and objectives of the project along with the relevant business process by conducting a workshop with the key stakeholders.
This is the most crucial implementation phase out of all the SAP Business One® phases. In this phase, the business process and technical requirements are implemented as documented in the blueprint.
The main objective of this phase is to complete final preparation including system management, user and administrator training, and cutover activities to establish go-live readiness.
In this phase, finally it is time to move from a project-oriented, pre-production environment to live production operation.
