We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketplace Manager to oversee and manage our presence across multiple online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth marketplace operations, driving sales growth, maintaining compliance with marketplace guidelines, and optimizing the customer experience. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and staying ahead of industry trends.
1. Product Listing and Management:
• Oversee the listing of products on various marketplaces.
• Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure accuracy and compliance of product listings.
• Perform keyword analysis to optimize product visibility and rank on the first page of marketplaces.
2. Customer Engagement:
• Address and resolve customer queries
• Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of cases and disputes in all marketplaces.
3. Marketplace Compliance:
• Monitor and analyze new marketplace guidelines and policies.
• Ensure adherence to marketplace rules and implement necessary changes.
• Onboard and manage new marketplace accounts.
4. Advertising and Campaigns:
• Create and manage sponsored advertisements, stores, and product campaigns.
• Plan and execute time-sensitive promotional offers, particularly during festive seasons.
5. Financial Operations:
• Conduct weekly payment reconciliation.
• Reconcile return commissions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
6. Inventory and Stock Management:
• Collaborate with production teams to plan and manage inventory levels.
• Strategize and introduce new stock based on demand forecasts.
7. Analytics and Reporting:
• Provide regular analytical reports on online sales performance.
• Utilize site analytics and testing to drive growth for e-commerce.
• Conduct weekly competitor price research and implement competitive pricing strategies.
8. Strategic Planning and Marketing:
• Plan and execute marketing activities, including affiliate marketing, email campaigns, search engine marketing and seasonal promotions.
• Develop and optimize on-site merchandising strategies.
• Focus on strategic product branding to enhance marketplace presence.
9. Collaboration and Relationship Management:
• Work closely with internal teams to align marketplace activities with overall business objectives.
